Our Library

The college has been provided with good library and the students are advised to make full use of the same.

The library at Maa Bachchan Devi B.Ed. College is a vital resource center designed to support and enhance the academic experience of our students and staff. Our well-stocked library houses a comprehensive collection of books, journals, research papers, and reference materials related to education, pedagogy, psychology, and other fields relevant to B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programs. The library is equipped with a quiet reading space, Wi-Fi access, and computer stations, fostering an ideal environment for study and research.

Library Rules & Regulations

  • Library Access: The library is open to all students and staff members of the college during designated hours.
  • Membership & ID Card: Every user must carry a valid college ID card to access library resources.
  • Silence: Silence must be maintained at all times within the library. Group discussions or loud conversations are discouraged inside the reading areas.
  • Book Borrowing: Books can be borrowed for a maximum of 15 days. Books must be returned or renewed on or before the due date. Reference books, journals, and periodicals are available for in-library use only and cannot be issued.
  • Late Fines: A fine will be charged for overdue books. Students are encouraged to return books promptly to avoid penalties.
  • Personal Belongings: Bags, personal books, and other belongings are not allowed in the reading area. They should be left in the designated area outside the library.
  • Respect for Library Materials: Users are responsible for handling all materials with care. Writing on or damaging library books, journals, or resources is strictly prohibited. Damaged or lost materials must be replaced or compensated by the user.
  • Use of Computers and Wi-Fi: Computers and Wi-Fi are provided for academic purposes only. Misuse or access to unauthorized websites is prohibited.
  • Food and Drinks: Eating and drinking are not allowed inside the library to maintain cleanliness.
  • Mobile Phones: Mobile phones must be on silent mode or turned off within the library to avoid disturbances.
